Guernsey Telephone Museum, Castel, Guernsey - Opening Times:

(Sunday - closed ). Guernsey Telephone Museum was inaugurated
by the States of Guernsey in 1976, primarily from items returned
to the stores of Guernsey Telecoms following the automation of
Guernsey's telephone system. On the island of Guernsey.
Fort Grey and Shipwreck
museum, Rocquaine bay. Tel 01481 265036. Fort Grey is located
on Guernsey's rocky west coast, near the infamous Hanois reefs
and the site of many historic shipwrecks. The small martello
tower contains a museum about Guernsey shipwrecks, with many
salvaged artefacts and related illustrations. On the island of

The parish church of St Marie du Castro, Castel. The parish church
of Castel is notable for its preserved medieval fresco and for
the presence of a pre-Christian neolithic statue menhir in the
churchyard, thought to be carved to represent a female fertility
symbol. It was discovered under the chancel floor in 1878. On

Sausmarez Manor, St Martin's.
Tel: 01481 235571. Sausmarez Manor is an historic house lived
in by descendents of Seigneurs going back to the early 13th century.
Over the generations the family have been explorers, diplomats,
admirals and generals who have all left their mark. There are
over 200 pieces of sculpture in the art park and the sub-tropical
garden is home to exotic plants such as bamboo, banana trees,
tree ferns, camellias, ginger, subtropical lillies, hebes, giant

Fermain Bay, St Martin's. One of the most popular and attractive
bays in Guernsey. On the island of Guernsey.
St Saviour's Church. St
Saviour's was the fourth church to be built in Guernsey. It is
the largest of the country churches and stands at the top of
a valley overlooking the reservoir. It took 5 months to construct
and was dedicated and consecrated in 1154. The spire raises to
a height of 103 ft and is capped by a fine weathercock. On the

Strawberry farm, St Saviour's. Strawberry farm has a collection
of captive-bred endangered macaws and parrots,an adventure playground,
crazy golf and 18-hole putting green.
