Beaulieu. Beaulieu is a picturesque and historic village in south Hampshire on the edge of the New Forest. Bishop's Waltham. Bishop's Waltham is set in beautiful Hampshire countryside, located on the B3035. It is about 7 miles east of Eastleigh, 10 miles east of Southampton and 9 miles north of Fareham. Bishop's Waltham is about 12 miles southeast of Winchester. Bishop's Waltham is about 7 miles northeast of junction 7 of the M27 motorway. A palace was founded here in 1136 but was destroyed in 1644. New Forest

Brockenhurst. Brockenhurst lies in the the middle of the New Forest on the A337. It is about 10 miles south of Junction 1 of the M27 motorway, about 5 miles north of Lymington and 4 miles south of Lyndhurst. The large town of Bournemouth lies 14 miles to the southwest, with Southampton 12 miles to the northeast. Brockenhurst was the only village mentioned in the Domesday book as having a church. New Forest

Lyndhurst. Lyndhurst is a small town in the New Forest, often called the "Capital of the New Forest". It lies on the A337 with Southampton 9 miles to the northeast. Lyndhurst does not have a railway station, but it is only 4 miles from Brockenhurst and 3 miles from Ashurst, both stations on the South Western Main Line to London and Weymouth. New Forest

New Forest. The New Forest is an area of southern England with the largest remaining areas of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and old-growth forest in the southeast. The New Forest is mainly in Hampshire, but also covers some of Wiltshire. It was created in 1079 by William the Conqueror as a hunting area, principally of deer. The New Forest has also been an important source of timber for the Crown. It is an outstanding recreational area for walking and riding. Odiham. The picturesque village of Odiham is 45 miles west of London in Hampshire. It lies midway between Fleet (5 miles east) and Basingstoke (5 miles west) on the A287, and is 2 miles southeast of Junction 5 of the M3 Motorway. Petersfield. The market town of Petersfield is situated in rural Hampshire, on what was the main Portsmouth to London coaching route, now the A3. Bournemouth and Purbeck, Wimborne Minster and Ringwood

Ringwood. Ringwood is a traditional market town at the gateway to the New Forest. It lies on the A31 at the intersection with the A338. It is about 8 miles north of Christchurch, 10 miles northeast of Bournemouth, 6 miles south of Ringwood and 11 miles west of Lyndhurst. Romsey. Romsey is a small market town on the River Test, about 8 miles north of Southampton. It is located on the A3057 at the intersection with the A27, a few miles from the Wiltshire border. South Hayling. South Hayling is located on the A3023 on Hayling Island, surrounded by the waters of Langstone and Chichester Harbours. For many years it was dangerous for local inhabitants to cross these waters to reach the mainland, or take the ferry to Portsmouth from the western end of the Island. In 1824 a wooden road bridge was opened linking the north shore with the mainland. This became a rail link until 1963. A new bridge, built to replace the old wooden one, was opened in 1956. Southsea. Southsea is a seaside resort located in Portsmouth at the southern tip of Portsea Island.
