Colemere Countryside Heritage Site is the location of one of
Shropshires most beautiful meres which attracts Snipe,
Curlew, Goldeneye, and Pochard. The site is designated as a Local
Nature Reserve. Colemere sailing club uses the mere at various
times. They have a beautiful clubhouse overlooking the Mere which
contains changing rooms and showers, a kitchen and a club room.

About 7 miles east of Oswestry.
Old Oswestry is a fine
example of an Iron Age hill fort. The inhabitants of this fort
lived on the flat hilltop. In the Second World War the summit
of the hillfort was used to grow food for the war effort. Location:
On the outskirts of Oswestry.
Pistyll Rhaeadr, Tel: 01691 780392. Situated in the Berwyn mountains,
Pistyll Rhaeadr is 240 ft (74 metres) tall, the highest waterfall
in Wales & England. It is found in a remote location in Powys,
near Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, and is definitely the hardest of
the Seven Wonders to reach. Hundreds of people visit the imposing
falls every year, there is a coffee and gift shop and a campsite
