proudly on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. Over
the centuries this ancient fortified manor house welcomed and
entertained many distinguished guests and visitors including
King James I, William III, George V and Queen Mary and the Duke

Hall is a 14th Century Manor House. It is maintaind by a trust
founded in the 1920's when the Hall was about to be demolished,
since then the Hall has been a museum and Gallery and Host to
many Grand functions. The Hall is open to the public every day
except Saturdays when we are closed for weddings, opening times
are 11am - 4.30pm at an admission price of £3 for Adults
and £1 for children. Henry VIII is here every Sunday giving
