the home of the Welsh gentry of the 15th century. Built as a
hall-house with local stones and timber in the 1450s. Restored
in 1937 it now displays a wealth of original features. About
3 miles northeast of Pwllheli.

The Lloyd George Museum, Llanystumdwy, Criccieth, Gwynedd LL52
0SH - Tel: 01766 522071. Discover the life and times of David
Lloyd George in the Museum and Highgate, his boyhood home. Highgate
has been recreated as it was when Lloyd George lived there between
1864-1880 as well as his uncle's shoemaking workshop. You can
also enjoy the Victorian cottage garden. About 8 miles east of
Pwllheli.
