The Heart of Wales Railway
Line is part of the main rail network. Travellers will be impressed
by the rugged beauty, tranquil villages and picturesque Victorian
spa towns along the 121 miles between Swansea and Shrewsbury.
There are many wayside stations and halts where you can get off
and explore the villages, quiet valleys, forests and hills. Train

Station is the northernmost point of the Heart of Wales Line
and provides connections with Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester

Colemere Countryside Heritage Site is the location of one of
Shropshires most beautiful meres which attracts Snipe,
Curlew, Goldeneye, and Pochard. The site is designated as a Local
Nature Reserve. Colemere sailing club uses the mere at various
times. They have a beautiful clubhouse overlooking the Mere which
contains changing rooms and showers, a kitchen and a club room.
