Barry. Barry lies on the south coast of Wales enjoying
panoramic views of the Bristol Channel. It is about 9 miles south
of Junction 33 of the M4, 40 miles from Swansea and 10 miles
from Cardiff. At nearby Barry Island, activities are centred
around sandy Whitmore Bay and the adjacent pleasure park, with
over 50 rides and attractions. Barry was once the largest exporter

Centre with exhibits of memorobilia, and restored locomotives

Cardiff. Cardiff was made official capital of Wales in 1955.
It is located on the banks of the River Taff and is the largest

Cowbridge. Cowbridge lies on the A48 between Cardiff (13 miles
east) and Bridgend (7 miles northwest). Cowbridge is an historic
market town with town walls and a church. There is a market every
Tuesday and a Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month.

Llantwit Major. Llantwit Major, or llanilltud fawr, is a small town
along the heritage coast in the Vale of Glamorgan, lying about
9 miles south of Junction 35 of the M4. Cardiff airport is about
7 miles east of Llantwit Major and Bridgend is about 8 miles

a medieval town hall, the ruins of a manor house, a historic
