The South Downs Way, over 100 miles long, passes through the
beautiful countryside between Winchester and Eastbourne. The
trail is very popular with walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.
Passes through Eastbourne & Winchester. It passes close to
(miles) Steyning (1/2 ), Midhurst (2), Newhaven (3), Lewes (4),
Portsmouth (12), Alton (15), Brighton (7), Worthing (4).
Steyning Country Fair
is a great day for all the family. A fun day celebrating the
heritage and traditions of Steyning and the surrounding areas.
Livestock, rural crafts, stalls and demonstrations, together
with clowns, jugglers, puppets, music and other entertainment.
