National Waterfront Museum, Oystermouth Road, Maritime Quarter,

open to the public with free admission and is full of new technology

Dylan Thomas Centre, Somerset
Place, Swansea, SA1 1RR. Tel: 01792 463980. This splendid building
was named after Swansea's most famous poet, and has a permanent
exhibition on Dylan Thomas and his life, as well as a shop stuffed
with books, posters and memorabilia. Excellent restaurant. wheelchair

Swansea Vale Railway, Upper Bank Works, Pentrechwyth, Swansea,
SA1 7DB. Tel: 01792 461000. A nostalgic reminder of this once
busy and Historic railway. From SWANSEA Pick up the A4217. to
Llansamlet, continue for 2 miles pass Colliers Arms on the left,

The National Wetland Centre
Wales. Located on the Ramsar site of the Burry Inlet, WWT's innovative
centre at Llanelli is at the frontend of wetland conservation
in Wales. Its newest feature is the Millennium Wetland complex,
home to wildlife as diverse as dragonfly and Little Egret. www.wwt.org.uk.
The National Wetland Centre Wales is situated 1 mile east of
Llanelli and 5 miles north west of Swansea.
The Heart of Wales Railway Line is part of the main rail network.
Travellers will be impressed by the rugged beauty, tranquil villages
and picturesque Victorian spa towns along the 121 miles between
Swansea and Shrewsbury. There are many wayside stations and halts
where you can get off and explore the villages, quiet valleys,
