Alcester. Alcester is located just off the A435, about 5 miles
south of Redditch, 7 miles west of Stratford on Avon and 9 miles
north of Evesham. It is a pleasant market town retaining much
of its historic charm. It has a picturesque High Street with
half-timbered buildings containing small shops and tearooms.
Two magnificent country houses near Alcester (pronounced "Ulster")

Atherstone. Atherstone is located on the A5, about 6 miles east
of Junction 10 of the M42 Motorway. It is about 6 miles southeast
of Tamworth and 7 miles northwest of Hinckley. Atherstone is
about 40 miles from Bromsgrove and 20 miles from Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
The Atherstone Ball Game is one of the oldest traditions in the
country - the game has taken place every single Shrove Tuesday

Kenilworth. Kenilworth is located on the A452, about 5 miles
north of Warwick. It is about 4 miles north of Leamington Spa,
6 miles southwest of Coventry and 7 miles north of junction 15
of the M40. It has many historical buildings and a fascinating
Old Town with plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs. There is
a general retail market every Thursday and a Farmers Market

Leamington Spa. Royal Leamington Spa is located on the A452, about
4 miles north of Junction 15 of the M40 Motorway. Leamington
Spa is about 20 miles from Solihull and 100 miles from London.
Warwick is about 3 miles to the south and Coventry is about 8
miles to the north. The town of Leamington Spa was originally
known as Leamington Priors and until about 1800, was only a tiny
village. The mineral springs were known in the Middle Ages, but
it was not until 1784 that inhabitants of the village began re-discovering
its saline springs and started building baths around some of

Nuneaton. Nuneaton is in the north east of Warwickshire. It
is about 5 miles north of Junction 3 of the M6, 12 miles SE of
Junction 10 of the M42 and 5 miles west of Junction 1 of the
M69 Motorway. Hinckley is 4 miles to the east and Atherstone
is about 6 miles to the northwest. Nuneaton was a small hamlet
listed in the Doomsday book, but positioned on the edge of the
Warwickshire coalfield, and with its textile industry developing,

Rugby. Rugby is a market town in the county of Warwickshire
on the River Avon. It is about 6 miles northwest of Junction
17 of the M1 and 3 miles south of Junction 1 of the M6. Rugby
is 15 miles east of Coventry, on the east edge of Warwickshire,
near the borders with Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. It
is home to the game of Rugby Football, where the sport began

Shipston On Stour. Shipston on Stour is a small market town located
on the A3400. It is about 10 miles south of Stratford on Avon,
12 miles west of Banbury and 7 miles east of Chipping Camden.
It derives its name from 'Sheep-wash-Town', for a long time it
was an important sheep market town. Shipston-on-Stour was also
an important coaching town and still has many old coaching inns

Stratford upon Avon. Stratford-upon-Avon is a picturesque town beautifully
situated on the river and with a wealth of black and white timber
framed buildings. It is located on the A3400, about 7 miles southwest
of Junction 15 of the M40, 8 miles east of Alcester and 8 miles
southwest of Warwick. Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of
William Shakespeare and visitors can enjoy the Birthplace Museum.
There are a number of theatres in Stratford itself, notably the
Swan, a replica Elizabethan stage, and the Royal Shakespeare

Warwick. Warwick is a delightful town best known for its
magnificent castle. It is located on the A452, about 3 miles
north of Junction 15 of the M40 and just 2 miles south of Leamington
Spa. Warwick is about 20 miles from Solihull and 8 miles northeast
of Stratford on Avon. The town has many buildings of historic
interest including a 17th century Market Hall, with a large selection
